​Personalized Lesson

We went through every question on her sheet and even covered additional, spontaneous questions to prepare her for a natural interview. Additionally, we took a quick look at comments from current students at the school who reside in the dormitory.

 

During our practice sessions, the student incorporated key points from these experiences into her own answers. For example, she emphasized the importance of bonding with fellow students through participation in extracurricular activities and shared similar experiences as an international student.

 

To enhance her preparation further, it is recommended that she elaborates more on her personal desires and goals for attending the school. This includes articulating what she hopes to achieve, what aspects of learning she looks forward to, and specifying particular activities she is eager to participate in. Expressing these passions through hand gestures and smiling can also add a dynamic and engaging dimension to her responses.

​Interview Tips

To address this, I provided her with numerous example answers and connecting phrases that she could use to elaborate on her responses and seamlessly connect ideas. By incorporating these examples and utilizing effective linking expressions, she can enhance the depth and coherence of her answers during the interview, making her communication more fluid and engaging.
